Dax Parsons has worked in the heating industry since 1988 and has been the General Manager of Norfolk-based heating services provider, R A Brown Heating Services, for the past seven years. He has extensive experience in the renewable heating sector, working closely with customers to assess their heating needs.
Dax has a passion for de-mystifying renewable heating solutions to make them accessible to anyone. His background as a Gas Safe engineer and extensive experience in designing and installing various heating systems meant that taking NIBE's training courses was a natural next step.

Training Journey
After starting heat pump installations sixteen years ago, R A Brown became a NIBE Pro Installer when the partnership scheme first launched. R A Brown chose to partner with NIBE because the team felt that the products NIBE offered were above and beyond anything else in the market, and that NIBE’s helpfulness and support is invaluable.
Dax took NIBE’s Basic, Intermediate, and Service & Maintenance training over 2018-2019. The training provided understanding and operation of the full range of NIBE products, as well as guidance through the requirements for MCS Certification, which allowed R A Brown to qualify for the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant from the government.

Dax has already experienced numerous benefits as a NIBE Pro Installer. He highlights the most significant advantage as the access to extended seven-year parts and labour warranties, which R A Brown can now offer to its customers.
He says that customers’ confidence in R A Brown is boosted due to the MCS recognised training and technical support, which allows it to deliver government initiatives. Dax adds that the more advanced level of knowledge he received through the NIBE training has been useful when advising customers at enquiry and site survey stage.
The training also ensured a deep knowledge of the benefits of NIBE products when recommending them to customers. For instance, he can suggest NIBE Uplink, which offers customers a quick overview of their heat pump system's status and alerts them to any malfunctions, enabling prompt action.
Dax adds that he has a good working relationship with dedicated sales contacts and staff at the NIBE head office, particularly Technical Administrator, Phoebe Maxfield and Technical & Training Engineer, Alan Sanders.
