1. Download and Install the App

  • Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
  • Search for “myUplink”.
  • Tap Install, then open the app once the download is complete.

2. Create or Log In to Your Account

  • If the homeowner doesn't have an account, select Create account and follow the prompts.
  • If they do, log in with the existing details.

3. Link Your Heat Pump System

Step 3.1 – Check Prerequisites

Before linking, make sure that:

  • The NIBE heat pump connected to the internet, via either Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
  • The phone or tablet is connected to the internet and is logged into myUplink.

If connecting over Wi-Fi:

Step 3.2 - Using the network

  • Open the myUplink app, go to the home page and click the drop down at the top of the app. Click Add new
  • Press "Find connected devices"
  • myUplink will search for heat pumps connected to the same network as the phone
  • Select the correct serial number, and accept the invitation on the controller screen

If no systems are showing up;

  • Make sure the heat pump and the phone have a stable Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection.
  • Restart both your router and the heat pump controller.

If you still cannot find the system over Wi-Fi, refer to one of the other connection methods below.

If adding using the controller:

Step 3.2 - Using the QR Code

  • Open the myUplink app, go to the home page and click the drop down at the top of the app. Click Add new
  • Click "Scan QR code"
  • Navigate to 3. Info -> 3.1 Operating Info -> 3.1.30 QR code
  • Scan the QR code on the screen

If manually adding:

Step 3.2 - Generate the Connection Code on the Heat Pump

  1. On the heat pump’s controller display, open the menu and navigate to:
    • Top right menu -> 5.0 Connection -> 5.1 myUplink
  2. The display will show:
    • The serial number (S/N)
    • A button to request a new connection string
  3. Note down the serial number and the connection string. This will be valid for 10 minutes.

Step 3.3 - Add the System in the App

  1. Open the myUplink app, go to the home page and click the drop down at the top of the app. Click Add new
  2. Press "Find connected devices" and then "Enter connection details"
  3. Input the:
    • Serial number
    • Connection string (exactly as shown on your heat pump display)
  4. Tap Continue
  5. When prompted, enter a name for your installation (e.g. “Family Home”) and optionally your address details.
  6. Tap Connect again to finalise the setup.
