Hybrids
A hybrid connection means that you have ground source heat pumps, air/water heat pumps and/or control modules in the same system. This is an advantage where, for example, you have an existing ground source heat pump and need to expand the system, but it is not possible to carry out additional drilling. A hybrid connection is also used when you have a ground source heat pump for exhaust air recovery and want to enhance this with air/water.

FAQ
To activate the function, dock a ground source and an air-to-water heat pump to a compatible main unit. Then, activate multi-installation in menu 7.3 and set the desired priority in menu 7.1.10.4
Example of the settings in the S-series controller are:
Auto = Controller selects if the GSHP or A2W should be prioritised depending on running parameters, normally GSHP is prioritised.
BT1 = User sets the transition temperature at which A2W will be prioritized above the set temperature.
Date = User sets the date interval during which A2W will be prioritised.
